PATRICK SCHIAVONE THESIS

The body surfaces express airflow, this is particularly true of the surface directly behind the front wheel arch and the integration of the A pillar / cantrail with the rear spoiler. There is an extreme plan view curvature to accentuate the perception of fluidity. It is worth noting that the wheels incorporate the airflow theme being flush and incorporating holes that match the surface details found behind the front wheel arch  and in the spoiler. This type design is popularly known as” design semantics”. Schiavone has gone on to become one of the top managers in the auto industry.
