The Michelin tire Company has sponsored annual projects at CCS since 1991. The projects include the design of tires, wheels and vehicles suitable for fitting the wheels and tires to. Initially, all the projects were done freehand. With the arrival of Alias software, one student ,John Norman, did the first  computer generated project seen below. This set the standard for all subsequent projects. Scholarships are awarded for the most creative designs,an enormous help to students.
