DECONSTRUCTIVE  FORM

Unlike Biomorphic Form, where the vehicle’s body has a unified form vocabulary, where each plane usually flows into the adjacent plane with a minimum interruption , Deconstructive Design clearly delineates the various elements that make up a vehicle’s overall form. The designer might choose to incorporate a brutal interruption between body elements in terms of form, color, texture and materials. This design philosophy is producing fresh exciting results but as of today has not been adopted in any professional design studio.

Perhaps when the young students working with this form vocabulary assume managerial positions in the auto industry, we will see concept cars which express this design philosophy.
